Tēnā koe, welcome to the Digital Commons.

It's difficult to feel part of an alive community when your experience of reality and of other human beings is being filtered through these pixels.

But these times of lacking kanohi ki te kanohi connections only accentuates the need for humanity, belonging, spirit, communication and compassion. With the physical common space(s) closed for gatherings and happenings, we are asking questions such as:

• How are we able to nurture other accessible spaces that embody these same philosophies and still allow people to come together while physically distant?

• How can we hold conscious awareness, authentically express our creativity, feel the whanaungatanga here on the connected world wide web?

• How can we 'Be' in virtual common space?

Have you got any answers, or would like to contribute to the conversation?

Please don't hesitate to email us, message us on instagram or send a seriously sterilised postcard to 113 Taranaki St, Te Aro.

Also tag us on that platform instagram in any public events in Aotearoa so that we can share the digital gatherings out into common space and reverberate the word!

Links to Zoom calls, IGTV videos, online links and other virtual activations will be updated here on this site as the weeks go on. Stay tuned, we're here with you.

Digital wishes of aroha, warmth and safety to you in this moment.

Ngā mihi nui,
